People should find better things to do with their spare time.

I posted in one of the livejournal communities this morning and someone came along and posted a nasty comment telling people not to buy from me because I was a fraud and a scammer. At first, I thought it was an angry customer or something until I put the comment in google and realized this person had been posting the same comment on other people's posts as well. Seriously, do people have absolutely nothing better to do?!

Some people seriously have issues ;(

Unfortunately some folks get there jollies from being spammers and trolls. I do much like you did when I see such negative comments about a seller.
Besides, my rule is to pay attention to folks feedback since these people actually bought stuff.

That person needs to get a life. As do all trolls. Hopefully it won't affect your business!!!

It's okay. I deleted their post.

The same thing happened to me some time ago. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same person!

How awful! It must have been such a shock for you.
I wish there was a testimonial section on Etsy. I found my purchase from you to be a delightful experience, and I've gotten so many compliments on my ear-rings. Your shop is definitely on the list for when I have some spare change.
(Hope that makes up for it a little!)
