Sometimes being picky pays off!

Buttons are a PAIN to photograph because any little bit of light will create a glare. After 3 hours of photographing, playing with my camera settings I finally came up with a set of photos that looked half decent (on my computer anyways).

It paid off! I got 2 convo's this morning letting me know that I've been featured in treasuries both of which are awesomely colorful! I also sold 4 sets of magnets :)

Congratulations Connie! I find photographing my work to be harder than making it! Still haven't nailed the process yet, though working on it. Definitely pays off as you said!

Your pictures are cool! I struggle with taking good pictures of buttons, too - especially if they have a dark background it is really difficult. I found out that a translucent but matte foil (in front of the light source) works best for preventing reflections.
Sorry for my english!!
